We are A-SpaX, a Dutch rocket company located in Delft. A-SpaX means ‘Affordable Space Access’. Our goal is to enable the opportunities space has to offer for as many people as possible. This by providing an infrastructure for manufacturing and research in space and bring our reentry capsule with your payload safely back to earth. We make this possible by using our unique reusable space facility.
By providing an infrastructure for manufacturing and research in the unique environment of space, innovations can be realized that are not able to be done on earth. Enabling unmatched quality and breakthroughs. All by using an environment that does not exist on earth makes that we can take advantage of micro-gravity, ultra high vacuum, temperature differences, minimal vibrational disturbances and radiation.
These enabled innovations will improve life on earth and provide exciting possibilities. The way we look at it is: an innovation is a new combination of existing technologies. Until now we didn’t had affordable access to infrastructure in space, let alone for in-space manufacturing & research. With this new environment new innovations can be realized and added to the set of existing technologies. From which even more innovations can be created!
